About Beach Community Bank - Celebrating 7 years!
Beach Community Bank was founded in Fort Walton Beach, Florida on April 27, 2001
by a group of local career bankers, a local Board of Directors, and approximately
140 local investors. Our main purpose was to establish a community owned and controlled
bank dedicated to meeting our customers' financial needs through outstanding cutting
edge banking products and services, all provided with outstanding personalized customer
service.
We have been honored by a tremendous reception from our customers. With thirteen
banking offices located from the Greater Pensacola area in the west to the Beaches
of South Walton County to the east, Beach Community Bank now exceeds $661 million
in total assets and over $528 million in total deposits as of March 2008.
We have grown more rapidly than any other independently owned commercial bank in
the history of Northwest Florida. We are conveniently located or coming soon to
just about every community in the Panhandle. We have four offices in the Pensacola
area, three in the Fort Walton Beach area, two in Destin, one in Niceville, one
in Gulf Breeze, one in Navarre and one in the Blue Mountain area of South Walton
County. We are presently under construction with a new branch coming soon to Crestview.
While our success has been greater than we ever imagined, that original goal and
purpose remains intact. We are and will continue to be a locally and community controlled
financial institution dedicated to meeting our customers’ banking needs by
providing outstanding personalized banking products and services, delivered with
exceptional customer service.
We are actively involved in serving our local communities in ways other than just
as bankers. We have sponsored nine new homes for deserving families through our
local Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach with interest
free loans. We are actively involved with the Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Gulf Breeze,
Navarre, Pensacola, Perdido Key Area, and Walton County Chambers of Commerce.
We also support many local non-profit organizations with donations and sponsorships
such as the United Way, American Heart Association, Emerald Coast Foundation, Ronald
McDonald House, the American Cancer Society and the Fisher House of the Emerald
Coast.
Because of our local management and community ownership, we are more closely attuned
to the banking needs of our neighbors in Northwest Florida. Our officers and employees
are entrepreneurial, with a "can-do" attitude and approach in working
with our customers, which differentiates us from our competitors.
If you are already our customer, then you have experienced our unique approach to
banking and we are most appreciative of your business. If you are not yet our customer,
we invite you to check out our relaxed, friendly way of doing business. Come
see what “Banking at the Beach” is all about!
